Answer. We offer personal Maths tutors or private Maths tutors who are skilled in their areas of expertise. They need to undertake termly training and our management members keep track of and monitor our tutors to help them achieve targets and deadlines with children.

Our management members will then adapt to a child’s learning style to optimize their progress on a regular basis.

Adding to the direct Maths tuition each child will be guided and focused on by a mentor. They offer guidance to the child, mainly for the child’s chosen academic path including study options but also try to incorporate other academic skills into a child’s learning habits.

Deadlines are given and the child is expected to meet them. A child is also expected to attend all lessons and complete their homework whenever it is given. A child should always try to communicate their difficulties to their mentor. If all these expectations are met, success is inevitable.

For ages 5 to 19, this covers Maths Key Stage tuition, GCSE Maths tuition, and A Level Maths tuition.

Answer. Yes. We do offer GCSE Maths tuition revision classes for AQA, Edexcel, WJEC, OCR, and Cambridge.

For ages 1 to 19, we offer Key Stage, A level, and GCSE in-building and online Maths easter revision classes (as well as for English and Science) for the students at an additional cost (and is occasional for non Cherry Hill students). In these Maths classes, additional past mock papers are covered for the specific exam.

This revision class service is suggested for students who join us late. We are a government official exam centre for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, and Cambridge and hence we cover all exam boards.

Answer. Yes, definitely. We help our pupils with their Maths subject homework. In case of the school homework, the child will have to report to their mentor at Cherry Hill.

Most of our pupils move ahead of their school curriculum for Maths, after two years, and it has been observed that they rarely need any help with their school homework.

Answer. Maths is one of those core subjects that needs understanding, more than memory work. It is understood that children struggle with this subject and are dependent on their tutors to learn this subject.

At the beginning of Covid-19, all eligible in-building students simply moved to our online tutoring platforms. Most of our Maths online tutors are full time and aggressively trained and experienced, so our children transitioned effortlessly. The education on our online systems is so strong, that we took on many students during the day to support non-attendance at local schools, during Covid lockdowns. We cover Maths and Maths subjects for ages 5 and more (i.e., Year 1 and up). We start teaching Science for students of age 11 and up (i.e., Year 7 and up). For A Level preparation during year 12 and year 13, we provide Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English tuition.

Answer. Maths revision is important and a key factor in the studying process once the exam specification/syllabus is completed and understood. The moment our pupils are prepared and ready our revision process is started which includes solving past Maths exam papers and Maths mock papers that we ourselves prepare each year.

To train our students how to manage their time we use timers to encourage our students to work under pressure. Other important elements such as scheduling are also taught. All these skills are revision elements and increase performance in the exam.

Answer. We offer online tuition for GCSE Maths and A Level Maths (and also for Science and English) which is in high demand and is recommended. Home English tuition can also be an option but we avoid it unless the applicant carries a disability.

We observed that the productivity of pupils in case of home tuition was less compared to our pupils from in-building classes, which is why we stopped doing it.

Our home tutors for GCSE and A Level Maths (or any other subject) and the pupils they teach at home are at a disadvantage being away from the support, resources, and management available at our centres.

Answer. According to what we have observed, both the systems are equally good and have only a slight difference between them. We believe that the online Maths tuition (as well as) needs more work outside the lessons to match the experience of the in-building sessions. We suggest you commute to one of our centres first.

We provide our education to a lot of students around the world and many of them choose online education because they do not have an option to travel to our centres.

Moreover, the online education system has always proven to be of help to our in-building pupils especially when they are travelling or at some unfortunate time such as the Covid-19 lockdown

Answer. It will always benefit a child if he/she gets the correct extra help from the technical sources available.

An A level tuition will surely help your child to learn and improve their knowledge and Maths exam technique which will help create a drastic change. This will shoot their final exam grades much higher. The maths tuition should naturally be routine-based and regular.

We need enough time to impact a child’s A level grades which is why seeking extra help at an early stage is recommended.

Answer. You’re not at all required to buy any Maths textbook, study guide, or revision book for Key Stage, GCSE, or A Level. We will provide your child with our own Maths subject study material in case of Maths tuition which will prove to be more suited to your child.

In year 5, the 11+ pupils must move on to the exam preparation which includes, Maths with Non-Verbal Reasoning and English with Verbal Reasoning.

To do 11+, you simply need to select Maths or English when you apply and select 11+ on the application form.

The 11+ system at Cherry Hill is rigorous as a lot of pupils are applying for grammar school entry, making the standards higher and higher every year. Many of our pupils are at grammar school and we can see that the standard of education is very similar to that of a good state school.

We are not fond of the pressure the entrance exam put on pupils. Although our pass rate is high, we recommend it selectively.

Answer. Most of the students that attend Cherry Hill Tuition for Maths tuition are recommended by family, friends, and even school teachers. We are good at what we do and are highly experienced and market leaders in this field.

We do not know of any other source that can match our results for the Maths subject, and we are still finding it. Keep in mind, we need time to make an impact but progress is certain.

Our 11+ results are high and impressive. We offer places to 15 students for 11+ per year.

In the recent year, 11 pupils got into their first choice grammar or independent school. Although 2 of the strong pupils did not get in. This reflects that there is no guarantee that this static will work for you. We are critical when advising parents about 11+ since the process is complex due to a huge number of people applying for grammar school.

Answer. Our process of recruiting Maths tutors (or any other subject tutor) is highly selective. Our Maths tutors are trained before they start working with us and teach children. Their training is reviewed termly. Our managers overlook our Maths tutors to make sure that their targets are met and the results they produce remain extremely high.

We have many Maths tutors who work with us full-time. Our Maths tutors are educated at Degree and postgraduate level in their respective subjects that they teach our pupils.

Answer. Most of the work your child completes is controlled and set by our mentor from Cherry Hill. Our mentors are in charge of whatever the tutor does and can make any changes needed to the learning.
