I have first hand observed the power of specialised Maths teaching at Cherry Hill Tuition and can sincerely say that I am impressed and privileged to be part of the publications team. Part of my role involves studying pupil performance and helping to create study programs and questions, tailored to those with very specific requirements. I have over ten years of teaching experience at some of the best schools in the world and take pride in my work at one of the oldest tuition centres in the world.

Our mathematics courses are thoughtfully structured to cover all essential concepts, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. We follow a step-by-step approach that builds a strong foundation and gradually progresses to more complex topics.

A Year-To-Year Breakdown:

Cherry Hill Tuition is dedicated to nurturing young minds to foster a deep appreciation for the beauty of Mathematics. For students from Year 1 to Year 13, we offer a plethora of resources, study tips, real-world applications, and insights. From the very start, we go beyond the set National Curriculum to properly prepare our students for the world of Maths, including the study of advanced Mathematics.

Years 1-6: Building the Foundation

Years 1 to 6 prepare for Key Stage 1 (in years 1 and 2 inclusive) and Key Stage 2 (in years 3 to 6 inclusive). Without compromising our disciplined and structured approach, we make learning Maths engaging for students in primary and junior school. This includes practising a large volume of work which partially includes basic arithmetic operations, the study of shape transformation, patterns, and measurements, through hands-on experiences.

Years 7-9: Bridging to Advanced Concepts

Years 7 to 9 prepares for Key Stage 3. We dive into algebra and algebraic concepts that lay the groundwork for higher mathematics. Geometry and trigonometry are introduced early in our curriculum and studied during these years. We encourage critical thinking with real-life problem-solving scenarios.

Years 10-11: Mastering Intermediate Mathematics

These are the GCSE and O’Level years. Here our mathematicians will navigate through advanced algebra, geometry and trigonometry towards official exams. They will explore the fascinating world of number theory and statistical mathematics, prepare for standardised tests and exams with comprehensive study guides.

Years 12-13: Mastering Advanced Mathematics

School years 12 and 13 are where students study AS Level and A Level. These are needed to prepare for university entrance. At the A Level stage, everything from the early years are put into application. Mechanics and Kinematics are set on the A level syllabus for most exam boards together with A Level Statistics. Naturally pure maths dominates the curriculum in preparation for university maths.
